What is a SlinkyMail ?
SlinkyMail is an email sent from one member to another member within the anonymous, secure Slinky email system.
To send SlinkyMail, you must be a registered member. Sending & receiving SlinkyMail is free.
I got an alert email saying someone had sent me a message, but there is no message in my inbox ?
Often we find scammers/spammers who have slipped through our security screening (....they try very hard), that have sent out hundreds of messages to members trying to spam premium rate sms messages, Nigerian scammers or Many other money scamming tricks. They are often reported by other members. We delete their accounts.
All the members that they have contacted would have been notified that they have a message waiting in their inbox - but when we delete the scammers account any messages that they have sent out would also have been deleted. So subsequently no message will appear in your inbox.
I have sent a SlinkyMail message to a member but they have not replied to me?
We encourage all members to respond to messages although this is not always the case. This is why it is always best to send a kiss first to establish contact.
If you are not interested in making contact with someone that has sent you SlinkyMail - at least respond with a - thanks, but no thanks - message. This way the member that has sent the SlinkyMail knows that you got the message, but are not interested in persuing further contact.
If you do not get a response within a week from the member after sending them SlinkyMail - we suggest you move on to someone else .... it may be - that you're just not their type!
