I've been a musician and played professionally, neither hold much interest for me at present. More into the Sciences these days but love to laugh.. who doesn't!! I certainly don't know anyone that doesn't and don't intend to be near those that don't.... I love going out and still very playful, like dancing and meeting others. I've flown and studied aeronautics and have a keen interest in space travel. Of course describing yourself should be easy enough and I'd like to think we're generally honest but the fact remains most women I've encountered via dating sites tell me that the guys are mostly dishonest and without speculating further I'd much prefer to see us in a position to read between the lines and to take our time in deciding whether or not any of us are really being honest... I live alone and have been for over 20 years but in that time I've had the best relationships with women that I could possibly think of.. I tried starting a family when I was younger and that didn't go well and as much as your children are all the glorious names you offer us up, I'm sure that if you're a single Mum you've had your share of holding back your pain and I only see that as a strength.... which I'd dare say, most men would appreciate already ... so more to ya! Personally, I have no ambition to slot myself into a family as a surrogate father but can be an excellent friend.. and all's open at this stage, being single and all that is... I can describe, to a 'T' the types of women I'm interested in but the fact is I'm open to chatting, talking and getting to know anyone out there.. Someone with a healthy respect for the unknown that loves to laugh and believes in the premise of being well prepared in order to limit the probability of chance.. A female with a touch of skepticism when it comes to what the media report to us. It's not enough to ask for intelligence... such a commonly used description that really doesn't say much(or have we forgotten that the moderately insane and mentally disturbed are also intelligent)... but it is smart that I'm looking for, only I'd prefer somewhat of an improved version that writes enough about herself, but more importantly bothers to take the time to write a decent profile so as we know that much more about her than what we do from our Aussie culture.. Quite a lot that we ought to take for granted, don't ya think?. Like hugging and kissing, walks and Animal and Nature loving people as most of us are anyway, as well as wanting more to be done by our elected officials, particularly with our responsibility to the environment and obligations to the less fortunate in the world that require our assistance.. And they shouldn't have to ask us for help either! Sometime I think we're a very selfish lot, forgetting how lucky we really are here!

learn to play an instrument or simply appreciate singing and you'll soon have a deep respect for anyone that bothers to try..., I like most types of music
