I asked my friends for their honest description of me and they said words like: 'trustworthy, a really good mate, talented, considerate, gorgeous' (That last one was a fib - couldn't resist.) Nice friends I have..
I like my own company but I miss hearing a man’s laughter and my cat won’t laugh with me. He refuses to go on holiday with me or take me out to dinner, and I love to do both. Something is wrong with this picture – what could it be?
I don’t feel the need to play any sport - I prefer to be in my garden and that’s great exercise as well as being a useful pastime. Occasionally I’ll join the yoga class or the scrabble players. TV I don’t bother with much, except IView. I’m (slowly) renovating an old house, I write poetry and plays when the spirit moves me and I really appreciate a good cryptic crossword.

Someone friendly and unattached who loves to laugh. Intelligent, decent, considerate - a gentleman happy in art gallery or at beach barbeque Someone who knows himself & wants to know me , is interested & interesting and believes in give as well as take. Looks and talent a definite bonus, but not strictly necessary. Nonjudgemental, not critical or impatient Too much to ask? I know you're out there. l'm patient. l'll wait

No lasting favourites to speak of - I hate movies which rely on gratuitous sex and violence to draw an audience. Wouldn't like the audience, either, come to that. Don't watch Teev much either- too busy, and not interested in watching the news or soapies.

If l can't play it l don't like to watch - except cricket - a bit. I am not really a sporty person - prefer cryptic crosswords & sudoku
