**ADVANCED NOTICE** Although my profile regarding pets reads: "Likes pets but do not have any..." sometime in the not-too-distant-future, I will acquire a 'trained' assistance dog (primarilily a Labrador or Golden Retriever). I hope this doesn't cause too many problems with prospective contacts from RSVP. Meanwhile, I am a 35 yo, student, with a zest for life; I have Cerebral Palsy!! What's that, I hear you ask? Put simply, it's partial paralysis. I get around by using wheelchairs and crutchers (sticks). But don't write me off!! I have some limitations due to CP, but I'm very independent!! I'm caring, compassionate and sensitive; have a wickedly funny sense of humour - usually at my own expense!! I have a great sense of adventure, & would ideally love to enjoy most things that life has to offer, by sharing it with that special person, & who knows, we could soon be discovering our own new adventures!! I'm also willing to try most new things in life, at least once, and see what happens... I consider myself to be a selfless person by putting other people and their needs before my own, although, occasionally, this may not always be the most practical. I am currently studying Certificate II in AUSLAN (AUstralian Sign LANuage), and will soon be finalising studies in Certificate II in Information Technology...

I'm not really a big reader - unless you count the TV WEEK magazine, or the occasional flick through other magazines, newspapers, or for educational purposes., Daily papers, Magazines, I am not a big reader

I love to swim - at a pool rather than the beach!! I am generally a spectator with most other sports, and love "Aussie Rules (AFL) - GO ADELAIDE!!", AFL, Water sports

Well, the best things in life are free, aren't they? And it's the simple pleasures like a strole along the beach at sunset, or cuddling up with a good flick!! All of the above are just a few of my interests; however, if the right person came along to enjoy life with, I'm willing to try anything new!, Travelling, Shopping, Fishing, Camping, AUSLAN (AUstralian Sign LANuage).
